Ms. Lopez-Quach goes to China
While most of us were enjoying the usual 70 degree Southern California holiday, Ms. Lopez Quach had to buy a "real" winter coat for the 18 degree winter in Lindian, Heilongjian Province, in China. She visited No. #1 High School and signed a sister school agreement so we can began to set up a student exchange for our future juniors and seniors

NARNIA (Sorry no pics for this one) ~ "The high school students, along with several parents and teachers, were fortunate enough to experience seeing THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA at the El Capitan theater in Hollywood. The day began with lunch at Griffith Park where students enjoyed beautiful, natural surroundings and released their energy at the playground. We then took buses to the theater. There was an organ player and other special effects that made the movie experience very interesting and enjoyable. After the movie, we took a small field trip around Hollywood; we saw street performers and shopped at the mall on the famed corner of Hollywood and Highland. The students really seemed to enjoy the trip and now have a greater appreciation for Hollywood and all that it has to offer." Ms. Smith 9th Grade English
