Students discuss and learn at their table.
1. 5 minutes: Decide amongst yourselves who is the council member.
(remaining students are citizens)
2. 30 minutes: Propose & Debate the 4 different laws for each category.
3. 20 minutes: write down 3 Pros & Cons for each law
Pass out Ancient Greece Assembly Graphic Organizer
4. 20 minutes: Council Members from each table meet and decide which 4 laws
(1 from each category) are worthy of the entire assembly voting on.
5. 20 minutes: Council Members present laws including pros and cons.
6. 15 minutes: Questions and comments from citizens
7. Vote
8. Publish vote in classroom and website. |
